Spector Studio was born at a small desk in Denver - the same one that’s seen every product demo slinging the intangible since 2021.

After years working in tech, I felt a pull toward something different. Something physical. Something with weight. Something that still exists when the WiFi doesn’t.

Photography has always been the thread. Traveling, observing, capturing small human moments in new places - that’s what feeds my soul. Eventually, the urge to turn those moments into something tangible became impossible to ignore.

So I learned how to bind books.
How to print with intention.
How to choose papers, inks, ribbons, envelopes, stamps, ropes — every detail down to the smell of the glue.

Today, Spector Studio creates handmade photobooks crafted one at a time in Denver, Colorado.
Every book is printed, trimmed, bound, wrapped, and finished by hand - slowly, intentionally, imperfectly in all the right ways.

This is a place for people who still believe physical things matter.
That creativity isn’t a talent - it’s a choice.
And that moments deserve more than a camera roll.
